Future Pilots of America Vintage Wings
During the 1930's - 1950's aviation was advancing very quickly. By the 40's, aircraft were able to fly over the Atlantic Ocean flying route to Paris, England, etc.
By 1941 the USA had entered WWII and aircraft manufacturers were scrambling to get aircraft out into the war effort. These aircraft included the North American P-51, North American T-6 Texan, B-29, B-17, AND MORE!!! With many of the pilots that flew these iconic aircraft are now passing away. There are few people that can now preserve and keep these aircraft flying!! Even fewer people can explain the history of the aircraft, based on a first hand experience Therefore we are going to do our best to preserve the aircraft history. In order to accomplish this we will be flying into virtual fly-ins, into virtual airshows, etc. Upon arrival we will explain the history of each aircraft and answer any questions one may have. However, we have not completed the aircraft list so stay tuned for more aircraft to be added. Staff at FPA are continuing to add more and more civilian aircraft and military aircraft. |
